Motorway Pond - Newport, near Hull

Description

The Motorway Pond is one of the coarse fishing jewels in the Yorkshire area. Situated next to the M62 in Newport, East Yorkshire, this 18 acre gravel pit is well known for being a prolific carp water with the Yorkshire record carp of 42lb 8oz caught here in 1999. Lots of reed lined bays make choosing a swim difficult. There are just so many that scream pike...and carp, tench, bream.

This Hull and District water is available to members only, but what a membership. Brandesburton, The Tilery and the newly acquired Brough Fishery Complex are also available on the yearbook. Not forgetting sections on the Derwent, Trent and Foulness rivers, Canal fishing and plenty of other venues in the East Yorkshire area. Value for money has never been more strongly guaranteed.
