| Venue Type: | Clay Pit |

| Description: | Located a few minutes off the M62, Newport in East Yorkshire is well known for
the Motorway Pond, a prolific carp and pike water, but it is also home to this square
shaped 2 acre water, which was formally called Fish Trades. There is a decent pike
population and specimens over the 20 pound mark have been taken. The trees lining the
deep margins provide lots of features for hungry pike to lurk in. The water benefits from good bankside access although there are no facilities. Day tickets are bought on the bank. |
