Venue Type: Reservoir
Description: Boddington Reservoir is a popular match venue stocked with carp, roach, bream, perch and tench. There are over 120 pegs on this 65 acre venue and even though it can get busy you should be able to find somewhere to fish. Several big pike have been reported in recent years, culminating in a 40lb 10oz pike to Stephen Davis on 22nd February 2009. Fishing is from dawn until dusk, facilities are limited to a portaloo. The pegs have been upgraded to include concrete steps. Fifty thousand small carp were stocked in 1998, after some of the bream and roach were netted and moved to nearby Clattercote Reservoir.
This South East Waters Reservoir also plays home to Banbury Sailing Club.
