| Description: |
Bradwell Lake is a 23 acre gravel pit flanked by the Grand Union Canal to the east, and on the west by the River Great Ouse. There has been considerable investment in this water, with with eighteen of the 50 to 60 pegs suitable for disabled anglers and a road and car parking for forty vehicles recent additions. Two tonnes of roach, rudd, skimmers, tench, crucians and perch have been stocked in recent years. The MKAA record tench of 9lb 10oz was recently caught at Bradwell and along with bream to 12lb, pike to twenty pounds and a couple of Catfish. There is a three rod limit on the lake and a maximum of two rods on the river and canal. |

Exit the M1 at Jct 14 onto the A509 to Newport Pagnell. After 1 mile take the first exit on the roundabout onto the A442. At the fourth roundabout take the third exit onto Marlborough Street. At the roundabout take the second exit onto Saxon Street. At the roundabout take the first exit onto Newport Road. Take the second entrance on the right after the Canal. |

- Night fishing is allowed
- Fish live baits can only be used if they have been caught from the water they are being used on, on the day they are being used, and only native English species can be used, no Koi etc, even if they were caught from the water in question.
- Use of live-bait buckets and tubs is banned on MKAA waters.
- Wire traces must be used when pike fishing.
- Gaffs are banned.
- Use of boats for fishing, bait boats and other controlled devices for the delivery of bait and/or tackle is also banned.
- Cars are not permitted on the banks of any fishery accessed via an MKAA ticket other than in properly designated parking areas.
- Specimen anglers must have in their possession a suitable landing net of at least 30” arm length (75 cm) if triangular or 24" (60 cm) diameter if circular or spoon. They must also have a suitable unhooking mat of at least 18” wide by 36"long.
