Venue Type: Gravel Pits
Description: Kingsbury Water Park offers something for everyone with thirty pools, fishing is available on twelve lakes and there is a free pool for 16 and unders. The park offers other watersports, cycling, walking, birdwatching, camping and caravaning. There is a childrens farm, play area, horse riding and even a wooden railway. Day tickets are available from the Fishing Lodge located at the main entrance to the park. During March 2010 both Gibsons and Kingfisher pools were stocked with 1,000 carp and 400 tench approximately 10 inches in length.
Directions: From M42, exit j9, follow A4097 Kingsbury Road for 1.5 miles. At roundabout, take first exit onto Coton Road. Bear left onto Bodymoor Heath Road. Fishery entrance is on the right.
Season: All fishing lakes with the exception of Canal Pool are now open all year round and can be fished on day ticket or annual permit.
Park is closed overnight - see website for opening times.
Day Ticket: Various prices up to £4.50 plus concessions.
Parking charge.
Membership: Coarse Permit £80 or Specimen Carp Permit £150.
