| Description: |
There are four reservoirs at Tring, three of which, Marsworth, Startops and Wilstone, offer coarse fishing on a day ticket or annual permit. Built in the early 1800's, these reservoir's provide water for the Grand Union Canal via the Wendover Arm Canal.
Startops is a much harder water than neighbouring Marsworth although the fish run to larger sizes. Target species are the massive Bream, Tench and Perch plus carp to forty pounds and Pike to thirty.

Tring is on the A41 between Hemel Hempstead and Aylesbury. The reservoirs are on the B489 about 13 miles from Luton. |
